Just announced the other day, The Magic Kingdom will be hosting the Happy HalloWishes Premium Dessert Package during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! It appears to me that this is in place of last year's offering of the Villain's Sinister Soiree. We were lucky enough to attend the Soiree and loved getting plated desserts in Cinderella's Royal Table, while the Villains entertained us, but I can understand how this new dessert party might be a better option. The price point is slightly lower than the Soiree's $100 price tag, at $69 per adult and $39 per child (ages 3-9). This year's event will still include reserved viewing for the Boo To You Halloween Parade, as well as viewing of the HalloWishes fireworks from the balcony of the Tomorrowland Terrace, but also a tasty dessert buffet. Some of the sweet treats included will be chocolate covered strawberries, ghost meringues, candy corn panna cotta, chocolate-peanut butter pretzels, pumpkin cheesecake brownies, peanut butter whoopee pies, fruits and cheeses, cupcakes, hot chocolate, lemonade, coffee and tea. A sparkling cider toast will take place as well. That all sounds pretty fantastic to me!

I do not necessarily recommend the dessert party to those who have never been to Not So Scary before, simply because you will have so much to see and do at the party, that you will not want to take time out f your night to be at a special event like this one. If you've done Not So Scary before, are doing multiple times this year, or maybe even if you're an adult only party, who isn't concerned about getting in trick-or-treating time, you'll love this event and I would advise you to book early, to make sure you are able to get in.

To book, call 407 WDW-DINE, or go to Disneyworld.com/DINE. For more official information, click HERE!
